Founded by Natalie Cousins-Robledo
An award winning designer, a certified APLD (Association of Professional Landscape Design) member, and casted on the hit HGTV show The Outdoor Room With Jamie Durie — Natalie has extensive experience conducting installations of various scale and resolve.
Our portfolio offers extensive range stretching within the urban core of Los Angeles to opulent enclaves neighboring the San Gabriel mountains. With expertise and an uncompromised dedication to excellence, we ensure the shared vision between client and designer is eloquently applied to your space.
After completing certification at Cal State Northridge in 1999, Natalie began her career at a Landscape Architecture firm. While working on projects from the ground up, she acquired an array of knowledge about horticulture, hardscapes, irrigation, and client nurturing.
In 2004, Natalie pivoted towards landscape design for residential properties by founding Minanda Landscape Design, LLC. She has seen it grow from a one-woman operation to a multi-division company with a team of designers and installation professionals. Her continued education has excelled through living in Japan and extensive travel throughout Europe.
Natalie believes in creating spaces that speak to the individual and their aesthetic. Her philosophy incorporates diverse planting, sustainability, and unique features for the garden to radiate beauty and accessibility.
Natalie is a firm believer in adhering to the Watershed Wise Approach — ensuring all projects are designed with the focus of conservation and on-site water retention.
